Easter Sunday

The empty tomb stands as the ultimate proof of everything Jesus claimed about Himself. This powerful message from Luke 24:1-12 reminds us that Christianity doesn't rest on good advice or philosophical teachings, but on a risen Savior. When the women arrived at the tomb that first Easter morning expecting to find a dead body, they instead discovered the greatest evidence in human history: Jesus had conquered death. What makes this account so compelling is its authenticity. In first-century culture, women couldn't serve as legal witnesses, yet the Gospel writers recorded them as the first to witness the resurrection. Why? Because it actually happened. The empty tomb proves that every promise Jesus made is true: He will never leave us, no one can snatch us from His hands, and He has prepared a place for us in eternity. When we face trials, anxiety, or suffering, we can have hope because the same God who used the cross and grave to bring eternal life is working in our circumstances today. The resurrection isn't just a historical event to celebrate once a year; it's the foundation of our daily confidence that everything Jesus said about our present struggles and future glory is absolutely trustworthy.
