What if the most powerful thing we could do for someone we love is simply bring them to Jesus? In John 1:35-51, we witness a remarkable chain reaction of faith: Andrew hears about Jesus and immediately finds his brother Simon. Philip encounters Jesus and rushes to tell Nathanael. One person, one invitation, one life changed at a time. This passage reveals that God's sovereign plan for reaching the world has always been deeply personal. He does not write messages in the sky or send armies of angels to evangelize. He sends us, ordinary people, to the one person standing right beside us. The spiritual lesson here is both humbling and freeing: we are not called to save anyone. We are called to obey, to share, and to invite. The saving belongs entirely to God. That truth should lift an enormous weight off our shoulders and replace it with a quiet, steady courage to start one conversation, pray for one person, and trust God to do what only He can do.
